The number of units varies depending on the treatment area, muscle strength, and desired outcome. Forehead lines typically require 10 to 20 units, while the glabellar area may need 20 to 25 units. The amount will be recommended by your provider during your consultation based on your individual facial anatomy.
Mild, temporary side effects such as redness, minor swelling, or slight bruising may occur but typically resolve within a day. When administered by a qualified provider, the risk of serious side effects is very low.
